We believe that worship is the most important thing the church does. It is one of the main reasons why the church exists on earth, and it will be one of the few things the church will continue to do for all eternity. Worship is the act of ascribing worth to God and is primarily a meeting of God with His people. Therefore, we believe all worship should seek to please God. Because worship is so important, God has made it clear in His Word how He is to be approached; it is His place to tell us how He wants to be worshiped and our place to listen to His word and do only what He says pleases Him. For this reason, you will find that our worship consists of basic Biblical elements like praying, singing Psalms and hymns, preaching, and the sacraments (baptism and Lord's Supper). Our services are orderly, simple, and reverent. We rely on God to make these seemingly weak means effective for the growth of His church. Since it all depends on His power, He receives the glory for all that is accomplished.

We are convinced that God will honor worship that is regulated by His word and is centered on Him. We are also convinced that true Biblical worship will never be boring to those who hunger for the Word of God and a greater understanding of His majesty and glory. In our experience, this kind of worship has been the most effective in building up the people of God for the work of ministry because it focuses on His glory. Historically, it has been blessed by God to raise up faithful children who are eager to apply God's word to all of life. It produces Christians who are anchored to God and His word.
